Bobber vintage motorcycle vests Inside patches????
Quite a few of the vests have military type patches stitched and pinned inside. All of them have a number and some have names and dates written on them. Looks like they were maybe cut from uniforms? I have no idea.
Vintage bobber/motorcycle club vests
Hello:
I have a big collection of vintage motorcycle cuts/vests and jackets dating from the early 1950's to the mid to late 1970's. I'm planning to put them up for auction pretty soon but wanted to see if there was anyone else out there interested in such things. Some of the vests belonged to war vets and have their badges, patches, names etc. on the jackets and make up for an interesting American folk art collection. Some of the rockers - motorcycle club names on the back of the jackets say "Gypsy International MC" and others belong to outlaw gangs that have either disbanded decades ago or are still in existence. I have some Hells Angel cuts but won't post on here as I don't want to upset anyone, unless they want to buy them of course. Feel free to pitch in with information as I'm no expert on the subject. I acquired the vests through a friend's father who recently past away. The entire collection was about to be junked when I stepped in and made them an offer. I'll start posting the collection soon. Thanks.
